The work turntable consists of three parts: the upper part is the upper punch, the middle part is the middle mold, and the lower part is the lower punch. The middle part is equipped with a feeding device.
The working principle of the rotary tablet press is to install multiple sets of stamping dies in a circular shape on the working turntable, and the tail of each upper and lower punch is controlled by a fixed lifting guide rail; The working turntable is driven to rotate by the transmission equipment, so that the up and down punches rotate synchronously with it, and at the same time, it is controlled by the guide rail to perform axial lifting and lowering movements. Rotary tablet presses can be divided into low-speed rotary tablet presses, high-speed rotary tablet presses, and sub high speed rotary tablet presses according to their rotational speed. Their output ranges from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of tablets per hour, which can meet different production needs.
(1) At present, the rotational speed of low-speed rotary tablet press turntables in China is basically within 30r/min, and the production capacity is relatively low, generally around 100000 tablets/h;
(2) The rotation speed of the high-speed rotary tablet press turntable is generally around 50-90r/min, and the production capacity is approximately (200000 to 500000 pieces/h);
(3) The rotation speed of the sub high speed rotary tablet press turntable can reach about 40r/min, and its production capacity is approximately (200000 to 260000 pieces/h).
The rotary tablet press has been widely used both domestically and internationally due to its characteristics of low vibration, low noise, low energy consumption, high output, stable quality, and suitability for large-scale production. Category 3: Flower basket tablet press
The flower basket tablet press is a small, continuous automatic tablet press with a single die. However, its working principle is different from that of a single punch press. It mainly uses a V-belt and a first stage cylindrical gear to drive the main shaft to rotate. Three types of convex wheel mechanisms are installed on the main shaft, and through the coordinated operation of the three, the filling, pressing, and dispensing processes are completed.
The flower basket tablet press is relatively bulky compared to a single stamping press, making it difficult to produce hand cranked tablets. Its production capacity is almost the same as that of a single stamping press, and it is generally only suitable for small-scale production in laboratories, hospitals, and other departments.
